Halfacre Construction Company is the area's oldest, most established, and locally owned and operated private commercial construction company. Centered on foundational strengths of family values and superior professionalism, the commercial and industrial construction firm delivers projects on time, within budget, with the utmost integrity and with the expertise and financial strength needed for success. The firm is run by president and CEO Jack Cox, a long-standing member of the Sarasota community, and partners Reed Giasson and Tom Rees, who have been with Halfacre for over 20 years, respectively.
When Jack Cox took the helm in 1999, he brought the same shared vision of community stewardship, bond of a common trade and fine workmanship as his father, John, who led the firm before him.
